My sister-in-law moved into Modena almost three years ago, and we have been so very pleased with this remarkable community. All of the staff, from the front desk to the kitchen, are incredibly kind, responsive, and caring for their residents. This truly is a loving community, and we feel the staff are friends. The food is outstanding and the facility is bright and architecturally beautiful. We looked at more than a dozen facilities in the Mid Atlantic and feel fortunate to have found Modena.

From the moment we looked at Modena for my mother we knew it would be the perfect place for her. The place is clean and welcoming with beautiful indoor and outdoor spaces. The staff are a friendly and attentive and show real interest in the residents. There are great activities that are geared to all levels. My mother has been there for 6 months and I am immensely happy with our decision to bring her to Modena. I know she is well taken care of and I enjoy coming to visit her in such happy place.

My dad’s experience at Modena in Kensington has been fabulous! The location can’t be beat – near to us, shopping, historic Kensington, and a café in the bottom level. The building is lovely, with many amenities on-site, including a very good restaurant, in-house physical therapy, a hair salon, beautiful common areas, and a lovely outdoor space. But what makes Modena truly exceptional is the people who work there. Their warmth and friendliness make Modena a real community, where my dad feels right at home. We are so happy to be part of the Modena community!
